Terms & Conditions

Last updated: May 2026

Strike Atlas is an AI-powered automated penetration testing platform. By using this service you represent that you have explicit written authorization to test all target assets. Unauthorized security testing is illegal and strictly prohibited.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Strike Atlas (the "Platform"), requesting a free scan, creating an account, or otherwise engaging with any service provided by Strike Atlas, operated by Buguard ("we", "us", or "Strike Atlas"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the Platform.

These Terms apply to all users, including individuals, organizations, and their representatives. Your continued use of the Platform following any updates to these Terms constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Service Description

Strike Atlas is an AI-powered automated penetration testing platform that deploys autonomous security agents to identify vulnerabilities in web applications, APIs, and digital infrastructure. The Platform includes:

  • Automated reconnaissance, enumeration, and vulnerability discovery
  • AI-driven security agents operating across multiple attack surfaces
  • Authenticated and wildcard penetration testing modules
  • Structured vulnerability reports and findings dashboards
  • Integration capabilities with existing security workflows

Strike Atlas is operated and maintained by Buguard, a security research and technology company. The Platform is intended exclusively for authorized security testing by qualified security professionals.

3. Authorization & Consent

This section is critical. Before initiating any scan or test through Strike Atlas, you must have explicit written authorization to conduct security testing on the specified target assets.

By submitting a target domain or asset for testing, you explicitly represent and warrant that:

  • You are the owner of the target asset, or you have obtained explicit written authorization from the asset owner to conduct penetration testing
  • Your authorization covers the specific assets, subdomains, and IP ranges that may be discovered and tested during the engagement
  • You have the legal authority and organizational authority to authorize security testing on the specified assets
  • Your authorization is current and has not been revoked at the time of testing
  • You will provide a copy of your written authorization to Strike Atlas upon request

Unauthorized security testing is illegal in most jurisdictions and may constitute a criminal offense under computer fraud and abuse laws. Strike Atlas and Buguard bear no responsibility or liability for any testing conducted without proper authorization. Any unauthorized use is the sole legal and financial responsibility of the user.

4. Scope of Testing

Strike Atlas agents operate strictly within the scope of assets explicitly specified by the user. The following principles govern all testing conducted through the Platform:

  • Defined scope: Testing is limited to domains, subdomains, IP addresses, and application endpoints explicitly provided or discovered within the specified scope
  • Non-destructive methodology: Strike Atlas agents are designed to identify and document vulnerabilities without causing damage to systems, data, or availability
  • No data exfiltration: Agents do not exfiltrate, copy, or retain any sensitive data from target systems beyond what is necessary to document a vulnerability finding
  • No denial of service: Agents do not conduct denial-of-service attacks or actions designed to impair the availability or performance of target systems
  • No unauthorized data modification: Agents do not create, modify, or delete data on target systems except where explicitly required to demonstrate a vulnerability with prior written consent

While Strike Atlas uses best efforts to maintain defined scope boundaries, you acknowledge that automated testing tools may occasionally interact with adjacent systems. You are responsible for defining an appropriate scope and ensuring that adjacent systems are excluded if they are not authorized for testing.

5. Acceptable Use

By using Strike Atlas, you agree to the following acceptable use standards. You must not use the Platform to:

  • Test any systems, domains, or assets for which you do not have explicit written authorization
  • Attack, probe, or test third-party infrastructure without authorization, including cloud providers, CDNs, DNS infrastructure, or shared hosting environments
  • Engage in any activity that violates applicable local, national, or international law or regulation
  • Conduct testing designed to cause harm, disruption, or financial damage to any party
  • Use the Platform to develop or improve offensive tools intended for unauthorized use
  • Attempt to circumvent, disable, or interfere with the Platform's own security controls
  • Share, resell, or sublicense access to the Platform without prior written authorization from Strike Atlas
  • Misrepresent your identity, credentials, or authorization level when using the Platform

Strike Atlas reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these acceptable use standards, without notice and without refund.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Strike Atlas and Buguard shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of the Platform, including but not limited to:

  • Damages, losses, or legal consequences resulting from security testing conducted through the Platform
  • False positive vulnerability findings that may cause unnecessary remediation work or business disruption
  • False negative findings where vulnerabilities are not identified by the Platform
  • Data loss, corruption, or alteration occurring on target systems during testing
  • Third-party claims, legal actions, or regulatory proceedings arising from your use of the Platform
  • Service downtime, delays, or interruptions of the Platform
  • Unauthorized access to your account resulting from your failure to maintain account security

In all cases, our maximum aggregate liability to you for any claims arising under or related to these Terms shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to Strike Atlas in the twelve (12) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. Strike Atlas and Buguard expressly disclaim all warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, statutory, or otherwise, including but not limited to:

  • Warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement
  • Any guarantee that the Platform will identify all vulnerabilities present in tested assets
  • Any guarantee of zero false positive findings
  • Any guarantee that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure

You acknowledge that automated security testing is inherently imprecise and that security testing of any kind carries risk. Strike Atlas scan results should be reviewed and validated by qualified security professionals and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for security decisions.

8. Confidentiality

Strike Atlas treats all scan results, vulnerability findings, and engagement data as confidential information belonging to you.

  • Strike Atlas will not disclose your scan results, vulnerability reports, or any specific findings to any third party without your prior written consent, except as required by law
  • You are responsible for securing your own reports, account credentials, and any vulnerability findings you receive from Strike Atlas
  • You agree to treat any non-public information about the Strike Atlas Platform, its AI methodology, and its technical architecture as confidential and proprietary to Strike Atlas

Both parties agree to maintain the confidentiality of the other party's confidential information with at least the same degree of care they use to protect their own confidential information, and in no case less than reasonable care.

9. Intellectual Property

Strike Atlas and Buguard retain all right, title, and interest in and to the Platform, including all AI agents, testing methodology, software, algorithms, infrastructure, documentation, and all associated intellectual property rights.

You retain full ownership of:
